About Me

I've always been drawn to spirituality, exploring diverse paths like Catholicism, Pentecostalism, and other forms of traditional patriarchal Christianity. While I caught glimpses of the divine along the way, I also felt disconnected from my truest self.

In my mid-30s, an unexpected period of transition led me to fully embrace my gayness. This beautiful—though deeply challenging—time introduced me to New Thought teachings, which helped me recognize my journey as divine, perfect, and good.

This message of innate goodness felt like something the world needed. That realization led me to start the Gay Men’s Spirituality Group at Unity San Francisco, a monthly group of gay men of all ages who connect in an authentic and joyful way. Along with my passion for gay spirituality, I’ve had the opportunity to speak, write, and facilitate workshops on topics relevant to anyone, like recovering creativity and intuition, men’s issues, and Latine identity. I'm also working on my first book about how gay men can heal themselves and the world through their unique spiritual functions.

I live in Oakland with my husband and senior dogs.
